Log Buyer and Log Buyer Trainee

American Stave Company, Inc. currently has several openings for the positions of log buyer and log buyer trainee. These are salaried positions and are located in Missouri and/or Kentucky and may require some travel.

Applicants for the log buyer position should have past experience in buying and scaling logs, be knowledgeable in species identification and willing to relocate and/or travel. Knowledge of computers will be helpful.

Applicants for the log buyer trainee positions should have a degree in forestry or forest technology or a related field, and/or previous experience in a related field, have general knowledge of computers and be willing to relocate and/or travel. We will provide the needed training to a qualified applicant.
