Traditional Barrel

Found in cellars around the world, this barrel is known for its richness of character. This character is due in part to the special care taken to select fine grain, slow-growth staves. A long slow toast is employed during the coopering of this barrel creating a sweet creaminess accentuated by vanilla and caramel notes. The wine world's best value and its most popular barrel.

These handcrafted 90-100 liter capacity octaves are the perfect size for small wine lots, research projects, and home winemakers.  Available in fine grain American oak with a medium plus toast.
